Material carefully assembled by hand is incorporated throughout the collection, giving each wallcovering a truly one of a kind feel that adds depth and dimension to the surface of any room, like a work of art carefully sculpted for the wall.
Techniques like papier-mâché and hand-dyeing are used to create Insieme, a stunning one-of-a-kind wallcovering uniquely assembled by hand to create rich 3-dimensional layers of sculpted material. Cotton yarn is dyed by hand and then stretched over a wooden frame in an abstract geometric pattern, then immersed in a solution of cellulose pulp and sun-dried before being layered over a textural mica backing with a subtle sheen. This unique blend of techniques explores new possibilities in craft and adds an elegant textural look to any interior in a color palette ranging from soft ivory to a luxurious black.
Iberian Stripe reinterprets a traditional vertical stripe pattern in a stunning cork wallcovering. Large sheets of cork are individually dyed in hues ranging from soft ivory to rich navy and printed with a thin vertical stripe and then cut into thin bands and meticulously adhered by hand to a foil backing by a master craftsperson. Applying the strips to the foil backing allows slivers of metallic gold, copper or silver to shine through. The vertical stripe pattern is formed as the cork bands are carefully placed by hand and layered together.
