Birchbark

Inspired by natural textures, Birchbark transforms Innovations’ classic cork wallcovering through printing. Thin slices of cork bark (a sustainably produced, renewable material) are first laminated to a metallic foil, then over-dyed and printed in three layers of color. The effect is a new allover bark-like texture reminiscent of a dry-brushed abstract painting. Glimmers of metallic foil peek through natural pockets in the cork of Birchbark, giving the eight colorways of the inspired material a glamorous touch.
